Tasks set out for advancing law-based governance in China

A total of 98 tasks in advancing law-based governance in China have been assigned to respective units, according to a statement made public recently.

  • Shanghai pushes cross-border legal services

    Shanghai's Bureau of Justice and the Shanghai Bar Association jointly set up a legal services center on Wednesday for the first China International Import Expo to be held in the city in November. It's part of the city's effort to improve cross-border legal services and become a global city of excellence by 2035.

    The head of China’s top court pointed out the need to strengthen supervision and examine implementation of court reform in a conference on judicial reform held on Sept 12.
