Wuhan Maritime Court officials attend 27th national maritime trial seminar

The 27th national maritime trial seminar is held in Guangzhou. 

On July 12, officials from the Wuhan Maritime Court attended the 27th national maritime trial seminar in Guangzhou.

The seminar was organized by China’s Supreme People’s Court (SPC) and the Guangzhou Maritime Court. The vice-president of the SPC addressed the seminar.

The seminar discussed several issues including revision of Special Maritime Procedure Law, maritime electronic evidence, maritime judicial service guaranteeing the Belt and Road Initiative and the free trade zone strategy.

Twelve authors of prize-winning theses delivered keynote speeches, on which legal experts from Dalian Maritime University, Sun Yat-sen University, South China Normal University and Guangzhou Maritime Institute commented. Various topics were raised and discussed with the seminar participants.
